Child of the 90s

Thanks to this ThoughtCatalog article, I saw Microsoft’s latest commercial to market their newest Surface tablet and a newly improved Internet Explorer search engine.

And it succeeded in making me smile with nostalgia. I do remember Tamagotchis and yoyos and 3 1/2 floppy disks and cassettes and walkman and shoes that light every time you walk and wallet with chains and pogs. Those were good old days when life was simpler.

We had our first pentium 4 computer in 2002 and though it was considered another decade, let’s just say that the technology of the 90s didn’t arrive in the Philippines (in our household, at least) until early 2000s.

Nice one Microsoft.
